Research and Development Specialist

We’re a fast-growing food supplement manufacturer building high-quality, science-driven products — and we’re looking for an R&D Specialist who thrives when diving into real hands-on work. This role sits right where formulation meets manufacturing. You’ll be working with powders, testing encapsulation, finalizing formulas, and jumping in to solve real production challenges as they happen. Previous experience is a plus, not a requirement. What matters most is curiosity, ownership, and the ability to communicate and document clearly.

What You’ll Be Doing

Work hands-on with powder blends and encapsulated formulas

Run and support encapsulation trials (flow, fill weight, capsule performance)

Help finalize formulations so they work in production — not just on paper

Troubleshoot manufacturing issues alongside production and quality teams

Support scale-up from lab to manufacturing and assist during production runs

Create and maintain clear documentation (formulas, batch records, SOPs)

Spot problems early, suggest improvements, and help build better processes

What We’re Looking For

Background in food science, chemistry, nutrition, pharma, or a related field

Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting

Strong communication skills — you can explain problems and solutions clearly

Solid documentation habits and attention to detail

Proactive, hands-on, and not afraid to take ownership

Eager to learn and grow in a fast-moving start-up environment

Nice (But Not Required)

Experience with powder blending or encapsulation

Experience in a GMP-regulated environment

Interest in formulation optimization and process improvement

Working Hours & Benefits:

Full-time, on site role.
